Our KuneKune Meat Pig Meat
Kunekunes are a rare heritage pig, small in size (150-300 lb). Meat is a rich deep pink to red, and beautifully marbled throughout. Overall good health and the highest possible nutritional profile of our Kunekunes are achieved naturally by feeding them grass, hay and garden products, supplemented with the best sourced custom blend feed of whole grains.
Unlike commercially grown hogs, which are specifically bred to grow fast lean muscle mass, Kunekunes are a traditional heritage breed, which grow slower, producing a richer, redder meat.
We pasture-raise our Kunekunes for a minimum of 1-16 months. The result is a delicious, rich flavorful pork, marbled with pure white fat that will melt in your mouth. The flavor of this pork is truly indescribable.

We are now taking reservations for Spring Pork 2024. Pork can be purchased directly at our farm. We will have around 5 pigs growing. Pork Price List:

Why is your KuneKune meat more expensive?
We understand that our KuneKune pork is more expensive than traditional pork you can pick up at the grocery store. The reason why our pork is expensive is because there is a lot of love and intention that goes into our pork operation. Not only is KuneKune pork considered a heritage pork and is more flavorful, we raise our hogs on pasture and locally purchases feed and keep them antibiotic- and hormone-free. As a result, they are better for the environment and health. While it is a higher price to pay, our customers repeatedly confirm the value in what we produce.
While we are not 100% certified organic. Rather, we employ sustainable practices such as allowing our pigs to be on pasture, raising our livestock humanely, we purchase our grain from the local mills and cultivating food pesticide-free.
